Hi! I'm Ursula.

​

I graduated from The Northern School of Art in 2020 with a first class in BA(Hons) Costume Interpretation with Design.

​

Since then I have gained experience on short films, feature films, live events and TV drama. I am consistently expanding on my organisation and communication skills as Costume Designer on short films, and enjoying learning from those with far more experience, on larger productions.

​

I am also trained to a proficient level in costume making, and attempt to hone and expand my making skills whenever possible!

'Ursula’s work ethic is extremely professional, she throughly researches the period and context in line with the needs of the characters and their costumes. When making, her costumes are always a high level: precise with full dedication of her time and skills.

Whilst working on Gossip, she showed me her plans and processes, kept in frequent contact and made sure I knew production timelines so the hats I was making could be made in time,  and to the requirements needed. The final costumes on this production are testament alone of her skill and talent, it was a privilege to have my hats along side them.'
